Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency

Regulations

Subsequently, Directive 2002/91 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2002, has been amended by Directive 2010/31 / EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 May 2010 on the energy performance of buildings, a fact that has forced again transpose into Spanish law the changes made with respect to the amended directive.

While this transposition could be done through a new provision to amend the Royal Decree 47/2007 of January 19, and at the same time to complete the transposition contemplating existing buildings, it seems appropriate to be performed by a single provision recasting it valid the standard of 2007, the repeal and complete, incorporating the innovations of the new directive and broaden its scope to all buildings, including existing. Accordingly, by this Royal Decree partially it transposes Directive 2010/31 / EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 May 2010, concerning the certification of energy efficiency of buildings, merging the Royal Decree 47/2007 , on January 19, with the addition of basic procedure for certifying the energy performance of existing buildings.

This Royal Decree 235/2013, of 5 April, approving the basic procedure for certifying the energy efficiency of buildings is approved, entered into force on the day following its publication in the Official Gazette No. 89 (13 / 04/2013) is voluntary implementation until 1 June 2013. from that moment, the presentation or making available to the buyers or tenants of the energy performance certificate of all or part of a building as appropriate, be required for the sale or lease contracts concluded after that date.

In that register are those documents they have received all the Ministries of Industry, Energy and Tourism and Promotion recognition and has been structured according to the application corresponding to each recognized document.

Advisory Commission for the certification of energy efficiency of buildings.

Article 15 thereof, the permanence of the Advisory Committee for the certification of energy efficiency as a body edficios permanent organically depends on the Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism is established. Its mission is to advise the relevant ministries on matters related to energy certification.

Label energy efficiency of a building.

Obtaining energy performance certificate granted the right to use, during the period of validity, the energy efficiency label, the contents corresponding to the energy efficiency label recognized document, available from the General Register are collected.

The label will be included in any offer, promotion and advertising to the sale or lease of the building or building unit. It should always appear on the label, clearly and unequivocally, whether it refers to the certificate of energy efficiency of the project or the finished building.

ENERGY SAVINGS & ENERGY EFFICIENCY

Blind – Awnings and energy saving

Referring to the blind and awnings that according to the standard UNE-EN 14501/06 are designated as sun protection devices sector.

They specify and classifies into the following categories according to their characteristics:

First classification: Thermal Control

Please note: – The solar factor, transmitted energy.

– Heat transfer

– Direct sunlight, transmitted light

Second classification: Visual comfort

– Opacity

– Privacy

– Use of daylight

– Glare.

– Color Reproduction.

– Visual contact with the outside.

Thermal comfort and sun protection devices are directly related because the latter affect the amount of external heat that reaches the building.

And refers to the above categories to test devices and determine how they influence the ability to save energy on housing.
